The tally of fatalities from the latest attack in the Bryansk region has risen to five, according to the region’s governor, Alexander Bogomaz. The update was shared through the regional telegram channel.
Earlier, three civilians were reported as killed. One resident was injured in Suzemka as a result of Ukrainian shelling.
In the most recent updates, Bogomaz stated that two additional residents sustained minor injuries and were given comprehensive medical care on site.
Earlier in the day, an attack targeted a Ukrainian Armed Forces unmanned aerial vehicle, affecting several facilities including a humanitarian center and a multipurpose center in Novaya Kakhovka. In Chernyanka, Ukrainian forces also hit an apartment building, which suffered serious damage.
Additionally, a separate incident in the Belgorod region involved mortar fire by Ukrainian forces on the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, resulting in injuries among two children.
In another report, Donetsk saw damage to a library after an attack by Ukrainian forces.
