Firefighters tackled a blaze at a neighborhood paint shop located on Collao Street in Busot. The property housed multiple warehouses, and authorities described a high level of danger due to the presence of numerous gas cylinders and various types of gas stored on site, as reported by the Alicante Fire Department Provincial Consortium.

The fire began in the afternoon on a Friday and required about three hours to bring under control, following the accidental explosion of a camping gas bottle. Fortunately, the incident resulted in only material damage to the workshop, with the Alicante Fire Department Provincial Consortium confirming that there were no injuries.

A headquarters command unit along with two heavy city fire engines, a sergeant, a corporal, and seven firefighters from the San Vicente parks coordinated the response to extinguish the fire.
