Two large trucks and a trailer associated with an Ibi pallet company were involved in a firefight that began in the vehicles themselves and did not spread to the adjacent factory, according to official reports from the Provincial Fire Brigade Consortium. The incident unfolded earlier this Thursday, and investigators noted that the blaze originated within one of the transport units before threatening the manufacturing site, yet the factory itself remained intact thanks to rapid action on the ground. No injuries were recorded, and crews limited the damage to the vehicle exteriors while preserving the interior operations of the facility around it.

The event took place at a company facility situated on Calle Palencia in Istanbul, within the l’Alfac industrial estate, very near the southern access to Ibi via the A-7 motorway. Fire authorities received the alarm at 02:36 in the early hours, and within roughly thirty minutes crew members had the flames under control. By 04:15, the fire was fully extinguished. The prompt response, including coordination between multiple units, prevented the fire from breaching the factory’s interior while slightly compromising the front facade.

Firefighters noted that rapid deployment and decisive suppression were critical to containing the incident. A command unit from headquarters, a heavy rural pump, a heavy main pump, along with a sergeant, a corporal, and six firefighters from Ibi and Cocentaina parks, participated in the extinguishment. The operation highlighted the importance of swift cross-agency cooperation in urban-industrial settings and underscored ongoing safety measures at nearby facilities to minimize risk to personnel and property.
