Fire at Antalya plastic factory under investigation

A fire erupted at a factory in Antalya’s Çandır district that specialized in producing plastic cases and packaging. Local reporters from Ihlas News Agency confirmed the incident. The blaze drew immediate attention as the smoke stretched into the skyline and could be seen from about 30 kilometers away from central Antalya. Rescue teams arrived quickly, with a large contingent of firefighters and ambulance crews dispatched after eyewitnesses began reporting the rising plume. Firefighters managed to contain the flames within an hour, preventing further spread and limiting potential damage to nearby structures, including a gas station located adjacent to the plant.
