facial injuries
Four individuals were taken into custody by the Foral Police after a dawn incident outside a central Navarra nightclub that left a young man severely beaten and visibly injured. Among those detained are three soldiers stationed in the region, who now face serious injury allegations linked to the confrontation that occurred near the Zentral club in Pamplona.
The sequence of violence, captured by a bystander on a mobile phone, quickly circulated online and drew widespread attention. The footage shows multiple punches aimed at the victim as he attempted to shield himself and fall to the ground, with bystanders trying to intervene during the escalating assault.
During the melee, one of the apprehended individuals reportedly interrupted the attack by applying pressure to the victim’s airway, an act that later prompted others to step in and break up the fight. The assaulted man sustained bleeding and facial injuries during the confrontation and managed to flee once he regained his footing.
injuries and hospital care
The injured man, who suffered fractures to his face, underwent surgical treatment at the University Hospital of Navarra. Authorities indicated that the incident at the nightclub preceded the brutal beating, suggesting a possible prior altercation that escalated into the later aggression.
The Foral Police confirmed that the Criminal Investigation Zone, specifically the Crimes Against Persons Group, has opened an inquiry into the event to identify those responsible and to secure their arrest. In total, four people were summoned to the Beloso central police station for questioning as part of the investigation, with one individual described as a member of the Autonomous Corps and identified as the alleged perpetrator of serious injury.
Three of the four detainees remain in custody at the Foral Police facilities, with initial indications pointing to the involvement of soldiers stationed in Navarra. The investigation continues, and prosecutors are expected to present the case in court as the day unfolds.
