A hand made explosive device was safely dismantled in the former Ukrainian army office building located in Energodar, a city in the Zaporozhye region. The information came from the press office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Zaporozhye region. The report confirms that an explosive set up on a F-1 grenade with a triggering mechanism, commonly described as a timer or pull device, was found inside the building.
According to the briefing, a chandelier had been removed by the building’s previous occupant, and the device appeared to be arranged to activate when the lights were turned on. The authorities stated that the Ukrainian military had remained on the premises for some time after leaving the space, and a “stretch” device was attached to the F-1 grenade in the kitchen area. This description suggests a potential plan to cause harm if a certain condition occurred, such as illumination of the room.
