Explosions were reported in Dnepropetrovsk and Krivoy Rog during an air raid warning issued in the Dnepropetrovsk region, according to Ukrainian broadcaster TSN citing its monitoring channels.
Messages on the Telegram channel run by the same TV outlet stated, “The sounds of explosions can be heard in Dnepr and Krivoy Rog.”
At the moment, air raid signals continue to be audible across the Dnepropetrovsk region as authorities respond to the incident.
Earlier in the evening, explosions were also reported in Kyiv, prompting a quick official response from the city’s leadership.
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko confirmed explosions in the capital on the left bank of the Dnieper. He noted that a fire broke out in the Darnitsky district and that an airstrike warning had been issued just before the incident. Klitschko added that air defense measures were active in Kyiv as the situation unfolded.
Since October 2022, after the Crimean Bridge blast, Russian forces have increasingly targeted Ukrainian critical infrastructure. Airstrike warnings have become a common feature across many regions, with strikes focused on the energy sector, defense industries, and command and communications facilities, according to official Russian statements accompanying subsequent operations.
Earlier updates referenced significant losses in Ukrainian production capacity, underscoring the ongoing economic and logistical impact of the broader conflict on the country’s industrial base.
