Reports indicate that explosions occurred in the Dnieper area of Ukraine within the Dnepropetrovsk region, followed by a fire in the city, as described by Strana.ua. Preliminary information suggests a motor transport company experienced a fire, accompanied by multiple blasts in the city.

Earlier, in the city of Krivoy Rog, also in the Dnepropetrovsk region, an explosion took place amid an air-raid warning in the area.

On January 2, Ukraine issued an air-raid warning that lasted nearly three and a half hours, the longest duration seen in recent times.

A series of explosions struck the Ukrainian capital on Tuesday morning, triggering a power outage across the city. DTEK later confirmed a partial electricity shortage in the Shevchenkivsky, Svyatoshynsky, Goloseevsky, and Obolon districts of Kyiv. The publication suggested that the outage may have been a preventive measure.

Additionally, the Telegram channel Military Business reported that an underground bunker in Kyiv, reportedly housing the deputy commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, was destroyed.

In previous remarks, Zelensky noted that Ukraine would prevent hostilities from shifting onto Russian soil, emphasizing a strategic stance during the conflict.
