Three people were injured in what authorities describe as a kamikaze drone attack attributed to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Russia’s Belgorod region. Vyacheslav Gladkov, the regional governor, shared the information on a local Telegram channel he monitors. The strike targeted infrastructure near a bridge in the Grayvoronsky urban area, specifically a fast-changing pass between the villages of Gorkovsky and Sovkhozny. Gladkov explained that road workers were performing maintenance on the bridge at the moment of impact when the explosive device hit the asphalt compactor, resulting in injuries to three workers. Ambulance teams reached the scene promptly, and the regional president noted that the injured were being transported to Belgorod’s city hospital No. 2 for treatment.

In a separate incident on December 23, Ukrainian forces deployed quadcopters that dropped ammunition in the Kirovsky district of Donetsk. According to Donetsk mayor Alexey Kulemzin, the strikes left two women and three men injured to varying degrees due to the actions of Ukrainian armed forces. This latest episode follows earlier shelling in Donetsk, which hit a local kindergarten and caused concern for civilian safety and civilian life in the region. The overall pattern of attacks has drawn repeated responses from regional authorities, who emphasize the need for rapid medical care and evacuation for those affected while monitoring potential threats to critical infrastructure.
