As soon as they stepped inside, a distressed woman cried for help. A light was turned on, and the officers saw the victim on the ground, while the arrestee stood on his knees.
FOOA rose quickly, attempting to flee toward the street. Officers stopped him, but he resisted, escalating the struggle. He swung and pushed, even striking an officer near the doorway. The officers responded to the aggression with restraint and called for reinforcements.
