The incident happened near the town of Chishmy. According to the report, two Russians rode a bike to a shop late at night and then vanished from sight.
After failing to locate a route, the men asked a local resident for directions. It later emerged that there was no passage near his home.
Undeterred, the Russians continued their search for an exit, but soon encountered another unfamiliar man. He was unsettled by their questions, and a confrontation ensued.
The disagreement escalated into a fight, during which the local resident drew a firearm. The shot wounded one of the Russians in the head, chest, and hip.
