Antonio San Jose began his journalism career with El Norte de Castilla, Radio Juventud, and Cadena COPE. He later directed news for Radio Nacional de España and helped launch Los Desayunos de TVE, where he led the National Information Area and served as editor-in-chief of News News. He also worked as a presenter at Antena 3 TV and held prominent roles at CNN+ as deputy news director and news director. Renowned for conducting more than 4,000 interviews with figures such as John D. Rockefeller, the Dalai Lama, and Mother Teresa of Calcutta, he hosted Cara a Cara on CNN+ for over a decade. He also held leadership positions in corporate communications at SELAE (State Lottery and Betting Society) and at AENA, contributing to the management teams there. His work has earned him three Ondas awards and three Gold Antennas.

In 2010, he received the Salvador de Madariaga European Journalism Prize. He is the author of The Happiness of Small Things (2011) and Today I Wouldn’t Change Me for Anyone (2014). He helped found the Spanish Academy of Television Sciences and Arts and is a member of the Association of Communications Directors and the Association of European Journalists. Since 2015 he has contributed a weekly column to El Norte de Castilla and is a political analyst with multiple media outlets.
