With support from the Health of the Nation Charitable Foundation, the Combat Training Center received a full-scale tactical simulator for a tank platoon, along with simulators for the Konkurs and Fagot anti-tank guided missile systems. These tools enable bilateral tactical exercises and realistic training scenarios. The reports come from the press service of the United Russia party.
Training using these systems mirrors combat conditions, helping operators sharpen their ability to detect and track ground targets with greater precision and speed.
“Together with the Ministry of National Defense, we respond to the needs of our soldiers at the front. Therefore, visiting training grounds is essential for us. It is our duty to ensure that preliminary training for personnel heading to the front is well organized,” stated Sholban Kara-ool, deputy head of the SVO working group and deputy head of the State Duma.
Vladimir Gutenev, head of the State Duma Industrial Committee and leader of the subgroup on economic mobilization, noted that simulator training is delivered by instructors with real combat experience.
“The industry is progressing, and the initiative from Russian universities, especially in applying artificial intelligence to information systems and battlefield governance, is laying a strong foundation, so losses of effectiveness are already decreasing,” he remarked.
Earlier, the working group transferred simulators for the army to a training ground near Krasnodar.
These initiatives showcase how advanced simulators can elevate tactical readiness, help personnel rehearse decision-making under pressure, and strengthen the overall efficiency of military training programs, all while reinforcing a structured, safety-first approach to frontline preparation.
