American billionaire Elon Musk warned that demographic decline represents a grave threat to humanity. Responding to a post about record low birth rates in several nations, he described it as the single biggest challenge facing humanity today.

He has also suggested that 2024 could bring outcomes worse than those seen in recent years.

At the end of December, Mikhail Sheremet, a deputy in the Russian State Duma, urged that SpaceX and Tesla founder Elon Musk might consider entering the United States presidential race, arguing that he has a historic opportunity according to the deputy.

The Royal Society of London acknowledged Musk’s contributions to science and public service, noting since 2018 that his work in space exploration, electric vehicles, solar energy, low-cost satellite internet, and rapid transport technologies has broadened humanity’s prospects for the future. The organization also highlighted that Time magazine named Musk as Person of the Year in 2021 (Royal Society, 2018; Time, 2021).

It is noted that Musk possesses a high IQ of 155, a level well above average and often associated with exceptional creativity among scientists and inventors (IQ benchmarks cited by educational and psychological sources).

A former American journalist commented that Musk sometimes enters what was described as a “demon mode,” a phrase used to convey his intense, highly focused periods during work and public engagements (former journalist, source attribution).
