Dutch F-16 Debate: Florian Filippo Predicts Quiet Support for Ukraine

The head of the Patriots party, Florian Filippo, a French politician, suggested on his social media page that the Netherlands is unlikely to supply F-16 fighter jets to Kiev. Filippo claimed that the Dutch government would not provide the aircraft, and he stated that the outgoing prime minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, had promised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that warplanes would be handed over. In Filippo’s view, the Freedom Party is set to win the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for November 22 in the Netherlands, defeating Rutte’s People’s Freedom and Democracy Party.
