Sweet and Alba Paul, after reconciling, embarked on their first joint audiovisual project. The couple step into the spotlight as stars of a new video podcast called Destinies: stars. The show was released on Sunday, October 23, and marks a foray into a format they hadn’t tried before. The aim is simple: let followers see who they are without gimmicks, scripts, or hand brakes.
Every two weeks, the pair pause to cuddle in the back of a pickup truck and share intimate, heartfelt conversations about topics that matter to both. They tackle topics like friendship, jealousy, second chances, dealing with critics, sexuality, and self-esteem. The conversations are produced by Neurads, led by David Velduque, and form the core of each episode, including segments under the show titles Sabor a queer, Keep It Cutre, and Este es el modo.
“I believe in all the opportunities one needs, and I’ve always trusted in what we have”, Dulceida says to Alba Paul. The conversation is candid about their relationship, with Alba openly admitting that it was toxic at times and that past pain made it hard to forgive during that period. She acknowledges the fear of not feeling calm beside her partner again, even as the desire to move forward remained strong.
The journey begins with a careful assessment of direction, weighing the moment to try again against the fear of causing more hurt. The importance of forgiveness and honesty about why trust is being rebuilt are central to their narrative.
The project is presented as a fresh collaboration that aims to reveal a side of Dulceida and Alba that has not been seen before. Podimo Spain expresses confidence in the new venture, emphasizing their support for female voices and recognizing a gap that this project fills.
Representatives from Podimo Spain highlight the team’s generosity and the months of hard work invested, including summer days that add extra challenge. The enthusiasm of Aída, Alba, and their team helped transform the project into a memorable experience, making the journey feel truly special.
Destinies: stars expands Podimo’s diverse podcast catalog, joining other programming such as La Vida y tal by Ana Milan and Sebastián Gallego, Between the Sky and the Clouds, Estirando el chicle by Laura Escanes, and a range of shows featuring Carolina Iglesias and Victoria Martín, Nagore Robles, Samantha Gilabert, and Chica Sobresalto, among others.
