In the Moscow region, within the Bogorodsky urban district, reports indicate the crash of a kamikaze-style drone carrying a payload of 17 kilograms of explosives. The information originated from Telegram channel Shot, which cited an unnamed source connected to local authorities.
According to the same channel, a resident of the SNT Zarya community told police that a drone was located in a forest area roughly 300 meters from his residence. Subsequent details claimed that the fallen drone was the Ukrainian-made UJ-22 Airborn, with its fuel tank reported as empty at the time of discovery. Shot further alleged that the drone carried 30 briquettes, each weighing 570 grams, and that these briquettes allegedly contained a form of regular American C-4 plastic explosive.
Earlier, the Telegram channel 112 reported sightings near Kubinka airport in the Moscow region, noting that reconnaissance aircraft were found. It was stated that the drone carried a heavy camera and high-capacity batteries, and that it did not carry a combat payload.
Prior to that report, Shot indicated the drone fell approximately 10 meters from the entrance to the Voskresensk gas compressor station in the Kolomensky district, resulting in a shutdown of gas networks in the area.
Andrey Vorobyov, who at the time served as governor of the Moscow region, remarked that the likely target of this drone appeared to be a civilian infrastructure facility, although no injuries were reported. The sequence of events prompted investigations into any potential public safety threats and the broader implications for regional security and critical infrastructure protection.
