Claims indicated involvement of multiple launch rocket systems including HIMARS, Uragan, and Alder, with a total of 19 projectiles observed in the air, according to the official Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the ministry, during that period defense equipment also neutralized two Neptune anti-ship missiles and 12 HARM anti-radar missiles. Additionally, seven JDAM aerial bombs were destroyed in flight.
There have been announcements of a newly created drone suppression system within Russia. This system appears designed to improve early warning and interception capabilities for unmanned aerial threats.
Experts note that the situation demonstrates the ongoing tension and the range of measures employed by the armed forces to protect critical airspace and coastal zones in the region. The information comes from official briefings and social media channels managed by the defense ministry, which emphasize continued vigilance and readiness across the air defense network.
Observers in the region highlight the importance of maintaining robust airspace management during periods of elevated drone activity. The ongoing developments underscore the need for coordinated response across military, aviation, and civil authorities to minimize disruption to regional air travel and ensure public safety.
