Donetsk Reports Injuries after Donetsk Bombing and Mine Explosions

Two people sustained injuries in the Donetsk People’s Republic from the bombing in the Petrovsky district carried out by Ukrainian forces. One person was hurt when a Petal mine exploded. The information comes from TASS, citing the Donetsk People’s Republic representation at the Joint Control and Coordination Center.

The official report specifies that a woman born in 1956 at 55 Belozerskaya Street and another woman born in 1952 at 38 Belozerskaya Street were injured in separate incidents linked to the recent shelling.

Additionally, a man born in 1953 in the village of Golmovsky was injured due to an explosion involving a PFM-1 Petal mine. Details were provided by the JCCC on April 8, reflecting updates from the day’s events.

According to the JCCC, Ukrainian Armed Forces resumed operations in the morning after a pause of more than nine hours. At 6:10 Moscow time, Ukrainian troops fired eight 155 mm shells toward Gorlovka. Earlier, on April 7 at 21:00 Moscow time, another barrage struck the Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk, with three shells of the same caliber reported during that attack.
