The ministry also reported a separate assessment from Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov, the official representative for the Russian defense ministry. He stated that on a recent day the group of forces labeled “South” operating in the Donetsk direction eliminated more than 340 Ukrainian military personnel and foreign mercenaries, illustrating the scale of engagements in the area as described by Russian authorities.
Further, the defense ministry addressed casualties in another axis, reporting approximately 130 Ukrainian soldiers killed in the Krasnolimansky direction. The updates collectively outline the ministry’s summary of outcomes across multiple sectors of the front, highlighting both personnel losses and the destruction of various military assets as described by Russian officials in the given timeframe.
