A disturbing domestic violence incident emerged from Dagestan, where authorities report that a man shot his wife amid ongoing family tensions. The incident was documented by a telegraph channel associated with the Republic Ministry of Internal Affairs, which provided details of the case to the public.
According to official statements, on March 24, a man who has not been identified presented the body of a 37-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to a hospital in the Novolaksky district of Dagestan and then fled the scene. Law enforcement later established that the husband was the person connected to the victim.
Initial information suggests the two individuals had been living in two separate households for two years, a situation described by officials as a source of frequent and heated disputes. Local investigators noted that the household dynamic had become increasingly tense, contributing to a volatile mood prior to the fatal moment.
During a confrontation that escalated into violence, the alleged shooter reportedly became enraged and opened fire on his wife. The Ministry of Interior reported that the husband, who had an injury from a gunshot wound, was transported to a medical facility while the wife succumbed before reaching the hospital.
Subsequent updates indicated that the suspect returned home and was apprehended by police. A Makarov pistol was recovered during the course of the investigation. Meanwhile, in Saratov District, another incident was reported in which a prisoner identified as A from the Lopatino farm allegedly killed three of his companions. The triple fatality occurred at a residence where the group had been drinking together on May 18 of the previous year, and authorities say the dispute that day involved a struggle for a firearm.
