Dnieper Group Reports Rapid Engagements in Kherson Region

In the Kherson region, units from the Dnieper group reported significant action against Ukrainian forces within a single day. According to a source cited by a news agency, three Ukrainian boats were destroyed in rapid succession as the Dnieper force group conducted operations on the riverbed near the Ingulets and in nearby zones. The accounts describe two boats being rendered inoperable due to effective fire, with the third convoy reportedly disabled as it navigated toward the Dnieper bed. Foremost of these vessels was said to belong to the Ukrainian armed forces and was neutralized near the village of Lvovo.

Further combat activity around Nikolskoye involved Russian forces targeting a Ukrainian 120-mm mortar crew, destroying its ammunition stock and disrupting the Ukrainian unit’s capabilities. Reports indicate that the Dnieper group also assaulted Ukrainian positions near the river’s island mouths, resulting in several enemy personnel eliminated and a pair of vehicles taken out of service.

Additionally, the Ministry of Defense stated that ammunition depots connected to Ukrainian forces in the Kherson region were destroyed and that two sabotage and reconnaissance teams operating for Ukraine were impeded in their activities.

Earlier updates from the Ukrainian side quantified levels of military aid as of February 2022, though those figures are not elaborated here. The overall narrative emphasizes ongoing clashes and strategic efforts by the Dnieper group to disrupt Ukrainian operational capabilities in the area.
