A local dispute over electricity use leads to a murder case in the Tula region
A resident of the Tula region is set to appear in court following a confrontation with a neighbor over what was described as wasteful electricity usage. The update comes from the press office of the Investigative Committee for the District Investigation Department.
The事件 occurred on December 24 of the previous year inside the deceased person’s apartment in the village of Voskresenskoye. After the victim’s body was discovered, prosecutors say the accused initially denied any role in the death.
Authorities later confirmed the suspect’s guilt, and the individual later admitted to stabbing the roommate during a dispute tied to housing and communal services.
“Thanks to the inspector’s skilled tactics and firm stance, the attacker testified and explained that the apartment owner had sharply criticized him for the excessive use of electricity,” the investigation statement noted. “During the exchange, he stabbed and repeatedly struck his opponent in the head, then moved the body to the bathhouse.”
In the near future, the criminal case will be heard by the court.
Earlier reports indicated a separate incident involving a drunken father in Komi, who reportedly faced a life-threatening confrontation with a three-year-old daughter he shares a home with.
