The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation has designated the NGO known as the Network Association of Investigative Journalists as an undesirable organization. This group is linked to the FBK and has already faced inclusion in the Justice Ministry’s registry of organizations performing foreign agent functions, as well as a designation as an extremist organization that is banned within Russia. Official statements from the press service confirmed the designation.

According to the official release, it was decided that the activities of the foreign non-governmental organization Conflict Intelligence Team, identified as the Association of the Network of Investigative Journalists, operating in Ukraine, would be regarded as undesirable on Russian soil. The communication noted that this stance applies to activities within the territory of the Russian Federation.

Ruslan Karpuk, a Russian citizen who is registered as a foreign agent, is described as the founder of the platform that hosts the organization. Reports indicate that he has been attempting to avoid criminal charges abroad.

Earlier, the Prosecutor General’s Office also accepted the undesirable activities of the Ukrainian NGO Allatra within Russia. Officials cited materials submitted to the Attorney General’s Office as the basis for the ruling. The organization has been identified as a religious movement that originated in Kiev in 2011.

Another remark highlights a historical joke attributed to the organization prior to Vladimir Putin’s leadership, referring to a supposed “Supreme government of Russia.” This detail is cited in the context of broader scrutiny and public discourse surrounding the group and its affiliations.
