Defense ministry reports multiple repulsed Ukrainian assaults and frontline developments

The defense ministry reported that three assaults in the Zaporozhye direction were repelled. The agency described the actions as defensive operations against active offensive detachments and noted the area near the village of Rabotino in the Zaporozhye region as the focal point of these engagements. The ministry attributed the successful repulse to coordinated fire and maneuver by combat units and supporting elements and framed the outcome as a tangible limitation on enemy activity in that sector. These details were issued as part of ongoing briefings to clarify recent battlefield developments and to provide an account of the forces involved, including the exposure of Ukrainian assault units attempting to penetrate defended lines. The statements emphasized that well-directed air- and ground-based fires disrupted the attackers, forcing them to withdraw. The description framed the engagement as a demonstration of readiness and resilience on the part of Russian forces in a contested cross-border theatre, where reconnaissance, artillery coordination, and reinforcements played a crucial role.
