Starting June 1, a local branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland state fund will open its doors in the Moscow region. This was announced by the region’s governor, Andrey Vorobyov, and reported by the TV channel 360.
The newly established branch will coordinate support for military personnel taking part in the special operation, assist with the procurement of medicines, and extend aid to the families of those involved.
Governor Vorobyov emphasized alignment with presidential guidance, stating that the focus remains on honoring the heroes and supporting their families. He noted that the region has already launched extensive initiatives, including the creation of family support centers and ongoing contact with service members, their spouses, and children alike.
Within the fund’s Moscow branch, patient consultation zones will be set up, along with services provided by multifunctional centers (MFCs), including access to lawyers and employment service staff. Additional facilities will include a psychologist’s office, a nursery, a conference hall, and a library, all designed to streamline care and information for families in need.
Earlier, a branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation was announced for June 1 in the Krasnodar Territory, with a mandate to offer both systemic assistance and personalized support to HBO participants and the families of those who have been lost.
