The Prosecutor General’s Office has opened an inquiry into social media activity by a video blogger named Khasbik, focusing on posts that allegedly contained anti-Semitic content and calls for unrest in Dagestan. The report was disseminated by the Mash Telegram channel.

One of Khasbik’s followers criticized blogger Khasbulla Magomedov, who runs an Instagram account connected with a company once labeled extremist and prohibited in Russia. The discussion touched on alleged issues such as refusing to rent apartments and transporting Jewish clients in vehicles. The Flamingo Hotel in Khasavyurt was mentioned for allegedly providing housing to refugees and clients from Israel, and threats were attributed to the manager in the context of these accusations.

The blogger’s stories were cited as posting links without explicit condemnation of the comments made, and he also condemned rioting that occurred at Makhachkala airport during the arrival of a flight from Tel Aviv.

On October 29, amid a growing crisis in the Middle East, hundreds of people gathered at Makhachkala airport in response to a regularly scheduled flight from Tel Aviv to Dagestan. The crowd breached security lines and entered the airport building, prompting law enforcement to intervene and restore order.

Official updates indicate more than 20 individuals, including police officers, sustained injuries during the disruption. Over 80 participants were detained in connection with the riot. Dagestan’s authorities and religious leaders condemned the incident, attributing it to external provocation. The Kremlin later suggested that the unrest in Makhachkala was influenced by outside forces.

Early in the morning, a crowd in Dagestan was seen removing documents believed to be connected to a Jew identified in the discussion.
