More than 200 attendees—farmers, technicians, and businesspeople from the food industry—gathered in Alicante to explore CX Tierra’s features and benefits. The platform is built as a simple, user-friendly tool for work teams and government bodies that require no computer expertise. It aims to save time for farm managers and field technicians by guiding them through parcel registrations and treatment logs, automating routine tasks, and enabling data exchange within the organization. Manuel Nieto, regional manager for Alicante at Cajamar, led the presentation and was joined by Carmen Olmo, Training at Plataforma Tierra, and Isaac Argilés, Digitization and Information Transformation technician at Plataforma Tierra. CX Tierra runs on desktop computers and mobile devices, supports offline work, and stores data for later synchronization. It is crafted for field professionals, enabling quick registrations, efficient task execution, and rapid formulation of treatment plans, with access to an updated guide on permitted fertilizers and phytosanitary products. CX Tierra also emphasizes integration with additional free digital tools offered by Grupo Cajamar through Plataforma Tierra. Soon, users will access web apps for efficient irrigation and fertilization management, real-time weather forecasting tailored to their plots, and upcoming solutions for integrated pest management and carbon footprint calculations.
