Aksyonov said two apartments and two private houses sustained damage, along with a store and an animal feed warehouse. Technicians were also affected as some parts of the building suffered damage. He emphasized that authorities and the responsible services have the situation under control and are actively managing the response. Later that same evening, Aksyonov mentioned in a briefing from the Dzhanköy district that the air defense system had been mobilized. He confirmed that one person was injured and reported that multiple objects and electrical networks, including a private residence, were damaged as a result of the drone assault.
Earlier, Olga Kovitidi, a member of the Federation Council representing Crimea, stated that the Ukrainian drone attack on Dzhanköy occurred and suggested it could be linked to external political events, referencing the visit of the President of China to Moscow.
