The ninth anniversary of Crimea joining the Russian Federation will be marked with a theme that reads “Crimean Spring – nine years together,” announced by the republic’s Ministry of Internal Policy, Information and Communications. The detail was reported by DEA News.
According to the ministry, this year’s celebrations will center on the same refrain: “Crimean spring – nine years together.” The phrase has been laid over the official holiday logo, which features a stylized outline of Crimea rendered in the colors of the Russian flag.
Vladimir Konstantinov, the head of Crimea’s parliament, noted that along with the anniversary events, a photography exhibition will open in the State Council building, highlighting a decade of development across various sectors.
Officials emphasize that the display aims to showcase the breadth of progress achieved across authorities, industry, education, and cultural life over the years since the integration, illustrating a broad, collaborative effort.
Crimea’s status was formalized in 2014 following a referendum conducted amid longstanding political upheaval in Ukraine. The transition has since shaped regional politics, economic policy, and international dialogue in the area.
