The registration window for a major congress has opened, inviting SMEs from the Valencian Community that are aiming to grow their international footprint. The event will take place at IFA Fira Alcant on October 24 and 25, offering a dedicated space for information, guidance, and practical business advice tailored to small and medium-sized enterprises seeking to internationalize their operations.
In its eighth edition, the congress will host renowned professionals who specialize in international trade and the expansion of business across borders. Attendees can expect two days packed with targeted business meetings, expert-led sessions, and strategic discussions. The plenary session on October 24 will focus on “Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence: A Challenge for the Exporting Company”, examining how new technologies can streamline export processes, reduce risk, and open up new markets.
Beyond the talks, the program will share real-life success stories of companies that have expanded internationally, revealing diverse paths to sharpen competitiveness abroad and illustrating why internationalization is a critical step for sustained growth in today’s global marketplace.
The congress is organized by the Valencian Community Chambers of Commerce, IVACE International, and ICEX Spain Export and Investment. Their collaboration aims to create a practical, results-oriented environment where local businesses can access the tools, networks, and know-how needed to compete on a global scale.
The stated purpose of the event is to provide tangible help and support for Valencian firms as they pursue growth opportunities and seek to strengthen their international competitiveness. Practical guidance will be offered on how to identify and seize international opportunities, manage cross-border complexities, and build resilient supply chains that can withstand global disruptions.
Delegates will also have the chance to request one-on-one meetings with one of the 23 representatives from the IVACE Foreign Network who will be present at the congress for another year. In addition, more than 40 international import companies are expected to participate, with guests traveling from 21 different countries to connect with attending businesses and explore potential partnerships.
Both the registration itself and the complete program, including conference details and matchmaking opportunities, are available on the event website. Attendees are encouraged to prepare by identifying potential markets, products, and partners, as well as questions for the networking sessions that can maximize the value of the meetings.
