The head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Sergei Shoigu, extended congratulations to military intelligence officers for their professional holiday, highlighting the effectiveness of intelligence work during the special military operation in Ukraine. The greetings were published via the ministry’s Telegram channel.
In his remarks, the minister described military intelligence personnel as individuals who stood at the forefront of the effort against the adversary, consistently performing their duties with honesty and courage, and promptly gathering crucial information to safeguard the country’s national interests.
“Today, the intelligence officers continue to carry out the assignments entrusted to them, honoring the storied traditions of their predecessors and executing their duties with high professionalism and effectiveness during the special military operation,” Shoigu stated in his congratulations. He also expressed special thanks to veterans who generously shared their knowledge and experience with younger members of the force.
During a November 3 ceremony, Shoigu announced awards to three Heroes of Russia who had been instrumental in destroying a substantial number of enemy tanks, underscoring the significant impact of their actions during the operation.
Earlier, Shoigu had reaffirmed that Russia faced no alternative but to secure victory in the special military operation in Ukraine, underscoring the resolve to achieve strategic objectives. In this context, leaders emphasized the importance of readiness, unity, and continued dedication within the armed forces.
