Conflict Updates: Reported Shelling in Donetsk and Gorlovka Described by DPR JCCC

Within hours, reports indicate that Ukrainian forces fired 6 rounds of 152 mm caliber at Gorlovka and 40 rounds of 155 mm caliber at Donetsk. These details come from a statement issued by a representative of the Donetsk People’s Republic at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes in Ukraine, published on a Telegram channel.

The report notes that the bombardment of Gorlovka occurred between 10:15 and 10:20 Moscow time.

Oleksiy Kulemzin, formerly the mayor of Donetsk, shared on his Telegram channel that the city was subjected to heavy shelling. He indicated that the border area between Kyiv and the Voroshilov districts was at risk, and eyewitness accounts described explosions near the Emerald store.

Later, the DPR representative office at the Ukrainian Center for Joint Control and Coordination of Problems Related to War Crimes in Ukraine stated that Ukrainian forces fired two rounds of 155 mm caliber into the Voroshilovsky and Kievsky districts in central Donetsk.

Earlier, a discussion in the State Duma proposed organizing an exhibition of broken NATO equipment as a symbolic statement about the conflict.
