In the Kalininsky district of St. Petersburg, a troubling incident emerged where a stranger repeatedly offered a paid walk to a child. The report notes this event occurred and was observed by local media.
On the evening of November 27, a third-grade student left school around five-thirty, telling a parent she would head home. Approximately thirty minutes later, she phoned again, explaining that she had arrived at a point where a strange man appeared on the route home.
According to the account of a nine-year-old student, the encounter unfolded near a kindergarten on Grazhdansky Boulevard. The man began to draw attention to himself, allegedly promising a considerable amount of money for the walk. The child stated that communicating with strangers was forbidden, yet the adult reacted negatively, grabbing the child’s hand and tearing off a glove in the process.
The young person managed to escape from the situation. The victim described the assailant as of average height, dressed in black, carrying a backpack, and wearing glasses that resembled ski goggles. There is speculation that the attacker was intoxicated at the moment and could not stand unaided. The child’s mother reported the incident to the police the following day.
There were earlier reports from a student about similar approaches by a traveler in a separate transit area. (Source attribution: Fontanka)
