A Guardamar del Segura Civil Guard patrol, assigned to monitor a training center in the town, observed a young man alighting from a bus and heading toward the school grounds. When the individual noticed the police presence, he attempted to flee the scene.
With concerns about his behavior and the possibility that he concealed something, officers pursued him to verify his identity. After the capture, they confirmed the person was a 19-year-old resident of Rojales.
The officers detected a strong cannabis odor on the suspect and proceeded to search his belongings. They recovered 31.5 grams of cannabis, 1.75 grams of cannabis, and 0.40 grams of cannabis oil, all wrapped in candy wrappers and organized into doses for sale. The individual was arrested on suspicion of crimes against public health.
