With a heritage spanning 12 editions, the Starlite festival has solidified itself as a Marbella summer staple and a pivotal event in Spain due to its substantial economic and social influence. The festival runs through the summer, from June to September, delivering a continuous stream of concerts. This year, a fresh milestone arrives as Starlite Group and IFEMA Madrid join forces to bring the essence of the Starlite Occident festival to Madrid in a new format, under the title Christmas by Starlite.
This new venture will showcase a robust concert series featuring top international and national stars, offering a distinctive December experience. The first headliner announced for Christmas by Starlite is Sting, the British musician delivering a special My Songs concert on Friday, December 15.

Christmas by Starlite marks a fresh rhythm of music and entertainment. The event will run on December 14, 15, and 16 at IFEMA Madrid Fairgrounds, Hall 6, featuring meticulous staging, a grand auditorium, defined booth areas, booths, and VIP boxes.
The aim is to present a curated sequence of concerts bearing the Starlite mark of quality throughout December, elevating Madrid’s music, culture, and entertainment calendar.
Grupo Starlite, renowned for orchestrating standout destination experiences, is stepping into a new chapter that promises an extraordinary plus, in collaboration with IFEMA Madrid, a major promoter in the music and events sector. This musical offering, alongside culture and leisure activities, positions Madrid as a key hub in December, a peak period following the Constitution holiday. As Sandra Garcia-Sanjuan, president of the Festival and Starlite Foundation, explains, there has long been a desire to bring Starlite Occident’s DNA to Madrid, and the collaboration with IFEMA Madrid unlocked the right space and opportunities to make it happen.

Sting’s performance on December 15 is highlighted, with My Songs presenting a dynamic journey through hits from his time with The Police and his solo career, including favorites like Fields of Gold, Shape of My Heart, Roxanne, Every Breath You Take, and Message in a Bottle.
During the tour, Sting will be joined by Joe Sumner as part of the electric rock ensemble and other makeup artistry contributions.
