In the Krasnolimansk direction, the Russian troop group known as Center repelled two offensive attempts by Ukrainian forces. This update was provided by the group’s press center chief, Alexander Savchuk, and cited by TASS.
The official explained that the clashes unfolded with precise, synchronized actions across the group, supported by aviation from both the army and attack units, along with artillery fire. These coordinated measures successfully blunted two assaults mounted by mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As a result of the engagements, Ukrainian losses were reported to include up to 70 military personnel, two infantry fighting vehicles, two pickup trucks, and two 122-mm D-30 howitzers. In addition, air defense and electronic warfare systems, combined with small arms fire, shot down 11 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles.
Earlier reports noted that a Russian unmanned rapid response unit, known as BOBR, one of the first to employ FPV drones during the Special Military Operation in Ukraine, destroyed and disabled more than 100 pieces of military equipment and an estimated battalion of manpower within a single year of hostilities.
Additionally, there was mention in the Duma of ideas to organize an exhibition showcasing damaged NATO equipment, reflecting ongoing debates about post-conflict assessment and deterrence strategies.
