The Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Ukrainian War Crimes Issues (JCCC) reports, on behalf of the LPR, that since the start of 2023 there have been 32 civilian fatalities attributed to shelling by Ukrainian forces, with two of the deceased being children. In the first months of 2023, the shelling involved a variety of weapon systems. Reports indicate that 112 rockets from MLRS systems were fired, along with a single projectile from the MLRS Alder, ten shells from MLRS Grad systems, 81 rounds of 155 mm caliber, and seven additional shells. In addition to the human cost, infrastructure suffered substantial damage. Since the start of the year, 269 residential buildings have been damaged, and 77 civil infrastructure facilities were reported damaged as well.
