The message specifies that Bergepanzer 3 armored recovery vehicles were dispatched to aid Ukrainian Leopard 2 tanks in their ongoing operations. In previous updates, Canada was said to provide Ukraine with 8,000 rounds of howitzer ammunition and an additional dozen missiles for air defense systems, reflecting a broader mix of artillery and protective capabilities. The same report also notes that Canada has begun delivering the second batch of Leopard tanks. During a joint press briefing in Kingston, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen that Canada would allocate 3 million Canadian dollars to mine clearance programs in Ukraine. He highlighted that Ottawa plans to extend the Ukrainian soldier training program in Poland at least through the autumn and would send trainers to enhance medical skills within the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
