A Bryansk court issued a verdict in a case involving a local resident accused of luring a neighbor’s female student to his home and engaging in sexual activity with a minor. The information comes from the press service of the Bryansk City Court. Investigators found that the elderly man, reportedly intoxicated, offered the girl chocolate and invited her to visit. Once inside the apartment, a sexual act involving a child was carried out. The criminal case proceeded, and the defendant did not admit guilt. The court sentenced him to 12.3 years in a maximum-security colony, and 500,000 rubles were ordered to be paid to the victim.
A separate report indicated that a man in the Leningrad region abused a nine-year-old girl and her friend. The children came to his apartment where the suspect allegedly raped them both. One of the victims disclosed the incident to her parents, who notified the police, and the man was detained as investigators opened the case.
Earlier information suggested that the same man had lived in Kazan as a stepfather for three years and was accused of abusing his girlfriend’s daughter during that period.
Taken together, these reports illustrate a troubling pattern of sexual offenses against minors across regions, with authorities pursuing criminal charges and courts imposing imprisonment and restitution to victims.
