The Bryansk region’s governor, Oleksandr Bogomaz, reported that two unmanned aerial vehicles linked to Ukrainian forces were neutralized using electronic warfare systems. He outlined this account in a formal statement released through a regional communication channel.
According to the governor, one drone targeted the Klintsovskaya district power facility, specifically the CHPP. He noted that electronic warfare measures disabled the drone without causing any casualties or property damage. Bogomaz added that operational and emergency services remained on site to assess the situation and secure the infrastructure.
He also confirmed a second drone incident in the Vygonichsky district, indicating that authorities continued to monitor the area and coordinate response activities as the situation evolved.
In earlier remarks, Bogomaz referenced a Telegram post claiming that Ukrainian forces had attacked the village of Zernovo in the Suzemsky district, resulting in injuries to a local resident and partial damage to a residential building, along with a power outage. He noted ongoing emergency assessments and support for those affected.
Additional remarks described an attempted incursion by a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group into Bryansk region territory. The group, reportedly consisting of ten fighters, was said to be armed with explosives and American M4 rifles, with 5.56 mm weapons described as equipped with suppressors. Security and defense units reportedly detected the violators near the village of Podyvot’e as they attempted to move through the area.
Reports from the region also described operations involving Ukrainian saboteurs in the western part of Crimea, including an assertion that a Russian unit neutralized boats associated with the intruders. The developments were presented as part of ongoing security operations in areas adjacent to the border and within broader proximity to contested zones.
