Bryansk Region Reports Interception of Two Ukrainian Drones and Related Incidents

In the Bryansk region, Russian air defense forces reportedly intercepted and destroyed two aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during a nocturnal incident. Regional President Alexander Bogomaz conveyed this via his Telegram channel, noting that the Kiev regime’s attempt to execute a terrorist act using drones had been thwarted. He stated that air defense units of the Russian Ministry of Defense eliminated both drones.

According to Bogomaz, one drone was brought down in the Klintsovsky district, while the other was shot down in the Novozybkovsky urban district. He emphasized that there were no casualties and no material damage, and that the relevant services were responding to the scene.

Earlier reports indicated that Russian air defense systems on March 4 had intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle launched by the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the Bryansk region. In another related incident, residents of the village of Suzemka in the Bryansk region sustained minor injuries from shelling by Ukrainian forces, and a residential building suffered partial damage.

Additionally, information emerged about disruptions in a city in the LPR where more than 11,000 residents reportedly faced power outages following a drone strike. Authorities described the situation as affecting daily life and infrastructure, with cleanup and restoration efforts underway.
