Bryansk Region Reports Intercepted Tochka-U Strike and Related Damage

The governor of Bryansk Region, Alexander Bogomaz, issued a statement via his Telegram channel regarding an attempted strike on the Surazhsky district. According to the report, Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a Tochka-U ballistic missile. Russian air defense forces, on duty with the Ministry of Defense, intercepted the threat and destroyed the aerial target.

There were no fatalities reported as a result of the incident.

The regional head noted that a residential building sustained partial damage while the windows of an industrial facility also suffered partial damage.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that two Tochka-U missiles were neutralized and three Ukrainian drones were captured within Bryansk region borders.

Prior to that, Vyacheslav Gladkov, governor of Belgorod Region, stated that a missile alert had been issued for the cities of Belgorod and Valuiki.
