Advanced Tertiary Association announced that this Monday companies and institutions will be honored with the X edition of the Bishop Awards. The ceremony is set for October 26 and will take place during the association’s annual gala. The event carries the motto, “the courage to keep going,” and organizers promise more innovation and progress than ever before, with a focus on rewards for strategies that truly deliver results and redefine the current direction of the industry.

For this edition, a special award will be presented by the Advanced Tertiary board of directors in Europe. The program features prominent actors such as Luis Zahera and Paco Tous, who will participate in the short film “Mesa para 32.” Created by Grupoidex, the campaign aims to raise awareness about global food shortages. The story follows five friends who reserve a table for five but arrive to find space for only three, underscoring the urgent limits on resources that the world faces today.

Hoff Brand, proposed by PwC, earned the award for substantially expanding its business with turnover that grew tenfold within two years. The Spanish sneaker label, founded in 2016, has restructured its management model to support rapid growth, opening twelve stores in Spain’s major cities. The company credits broad collaboration with professionals from the tertiary sector, spanning finance, systems, and design, for driving this impressive ascent.

Grupoidex also showcased the project “World’s Largest Shoemaker” by the famous Martinelli brand, another winner at the gala. This summer, to celebrate the return of events after years of social hiatus due to the pandemic, they built a monumental shoe rack displaying more than 60 collections, ranging from stilettos to sandals. The project highlighted evolving design trends while engaging Martinelli’s global audience on social platforms.

The City Council Tourism Department received an award for Dénia Creative City of Gastronomy. The initiative relies on a three-year horizon, supported since 2015 by the Sustainability Plan within the “Smart Tourism Master Plan,” which is backed by Sien Consulting. The company was honored for its “Digitization of the Production Facility” initiative, a move toward investing in innovation and technology. They deployed Doeet MES software to monitor each machine in real time, paired with large-format displays across the plant.
