The International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” at VDNKh marked a Day of the Belgorod Region dedicated to showing support for its people. The event assembled exhibition organizers, regional delegates, and attendees who joined in sending encouragement through tulip and heart shaped postcards dedicated to Belgorod and its residents.

During the campaign, representatives from the exhibition management, regional teams, and numerous visitors stood with Belgorod by filling the stands with bright tulips and warm-hearted postcards. The message was clear: help is available, the situation is challenging, yet collective effort remains focused on moving closer to a hopeful outcome. The governor of Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, underscored this sentiment, emphasizing the shared responsibility and ongoing work to support the region.

Across all regional booths, banners proclaimed “Belgorod, our hearts are with you!” and the Belgorod stand received a vibrant tulip makeover. The choice of tulips carried symbolic weight – a symbol of love and happiness, tied to Belgorod’s annual Blooming River festival. This symbolism reinforced a message of solidarity and resilience among visitors and participants alike.

Volunteers staffed every pavilion, distributing flowers to attendees, while many visitors chose to deliver those blossoms to the Belgorod stand themselves. Supporters penned messages on heart-shaped cards, the emblem of the Russia exhibition, and deposited them into dedicated tubes at the Belgorod section. The crowd’s notes expressed wishes of strength, courage, and unity during difficult times.

Olga Binda, Deputy Director General of the Directorate of Achievements Exhibition “Russia,” invited participants to acknowledge the bravery and perseverance shown by Belgorod residents. The event highlighted the broader purpose of the Russia exhibition: to celebrate the nation’s achievements by bringing together representatives from 89 Russian regions, along with leading federal ministries, companies, and public organizations, to showcase ongoing work and collaboration on a single site at VDNKh in Moscow. The exhibition continues through April 12, inviting visitors to explore the diverse regional showcases and the country’s public institutions that power development and community support.
