The head of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported that the Ukrainian armed forces are responsible for limited daily shelling in the Belgorod area, claiming an average of 88 rounds each day. The report appeared on his telegraph channel and summarized recent incidents across several districts.

In the Shebekinsky urban district, more than 30 shells were launched toward populated areas. Gladkov detailed specific strikes, noting that 18 shells hit the village of Krasny Khutor, 9 targeted the village of Zhuravlevka, and the communities around Naumovka were affected by artillery and grenade launcher fire. These reports highlight ongoing tension in border communities and the persistent risk to civilian life.

Further reports described attacks on the outskirts of the Kozachye Rudchenskoye area within the Borisov district. The border zones near Krasnoyarsky district, particularly the outskirts of Vyazovoe village and areas around Prilesye, also came under fire, underscoring a pattern of shelling along multiple frontlines in the region.

Tragically, a civilian death occurred when shelling directed at the central market zone in the town of Shebekino resulted in a fatal injury from shrapnel. Gladkov conveyed that the casualty’s injuries were life-ending, emphasizing the human toll of the ongoing hostilities in these towns and districts.

Earlier reports noted that payments had been issued to about 86 thousand residents of the Belgorod region who suffered losses due to the shelling. The relief provisions reflect the region’s ongoing response to the humanitarian impact of the conflict and its commitment to supporting affected families and individuals through financial assistance and services.
