The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that on January 17, around 2:40 Moscow time, Kyiv attempted a terrorist strike against targets in the region using Alder multiple launch rocket system missiles and aircraft-type drones. Fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene to assess and respond. The regional governor noted that the situation would be revisited the following morning as new information became available.
