Three individuals sustained serious injuries after air strikes carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces targeted the village of Razumnoye in the Belgorod region. Among the injured is a 14-year-old boy who lost part of an arm and suffered shrapnel wounds to his chest, with the trauma extending from his waist downward. The information was released by regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov through official channels.
The governor noted that the young person was hit by shrapnel while inside the private residence where his family lived. The boy’s mother also suffered shrapnel wounds to the neck, abdomen, and legs. Both of them remain in serious condition and are receiving continuing medical care.
Another woman was wounded while she was outdoors during the attack, sustaining shrapnel injuries to her arms and legs. Gladkov stated that medical teams from the regional children’s clinical hospital and the city hospital No. 2 have provided all necessary care to the injured.
The bombardment caused significant material damage in Razumnoye. Ten private homes were damaged, numerous apartments in a multi-story building sustained damage, and windows were broken in a school and a kindergarten. In addition, thirteen vehicles were damaged, and three of them burned as a result of the strikes.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the assault occurred around 10:30 Moscow time and involved nine projectiles launched from the RM-70 Vampire launcher system. Russian air defenses reportedly intercepted and neutralized all targets.
Separately, officials noted losses on the Ukrainian side during the attempt to enter Russian territory, though specific figures were not provided. The incident underscores the ongoing tensions in the border area and the continued risk to civilians in the Belgorod region.
