Belgorod Night Bombardment Disrupts Power, Water Supply

In the Belgorod region, a night attack by Ukrainian forces left more than 13 thousand residents without electricity and water, a district administrator reported. Anna Kutashova, who heads the district administration, shared the update via a local Telegram channel. The damage focused on a major power line, and authorities said power had to be cut to allow for urgent repairs. The disruption affected Tavovoy, with over 11 thousand customers, and Dubovoy, where more than 2 thousand residents were affected. Water supply and sanitation systems likewise stopped functioning as a consequence of the outage, complicating daily life for families, businesses, and essential services in the area. Experts have indicated that restoration work is a priority and that crews intend to complete repairs to the power lines as soon as possible. [Attribution: Belgorod regional administration]
