On November 2, a Polish light aircraft crossed the Belarusian air border to a depth of 200 meters. This information was conveyed by Valery Revenko, who heads the department of international military cooperation and serves as deputy head of the Belarusian Ministry of Defense. The report appeared on the social platform X, attributed to him in a statement about the incident.

According to Revenko, the aircraft repeatedly crossed the state border of the republic while on patrol, a detail he shared publicly as part of the ongoing exchanges between the two countries over border security and regional stability.

Revenuesko noted that Poland has accumulated five incidents since the start of September 2023 that can be described as bordering on the brink of a breach, highlighting a pattern that has attracted attention from Belarusian officials and defense observers alike.

Shortly before these developments, Martin Wojciechowski, serving as the Polish Chargé d’Affaires in Minsk, submitted a formal protest to the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding what Minsk characterized as a violation of the state border by a Polish aircraft.

Simultaneously, the operational command of the Polish Armed Forces issued statements denying Minsk’s accusations of border violations, including claims related to a Polish helicopter that was alleged to have overstepped Belarusian airspace.

Earlier, President Lukashenko commented on the broader situation, suggesting that Lithuania and Poland were undermining Belarus by engaging in what he described as dirty moves, effectively undermining regional security and stability.
